21st Birthday Marquee Setup in Cranleigh
With steady rain from start to finish, Guy, Freddie and Joe spent the day soaked through while getting everything up and secure. It was a 9m x 9m marquee, so a smaller team handled the build, but that didn’t make the conditions any kinder. Still, the marquee went up on schedule and was ready well ahead of the weekend.
The setup includes uplighters, a festoon-lit entrance to set the tone as guests arrive, heating to keep things comfortable once the sun goes down, and a powerful PA system ready for speeches and music. By installing on Wednesday, the family has had plenty of time to decorate and make the space their own before Saturday’s celebrations.
Rain or shine, this is exactly the kind of job we enjoy — helping families host big moments at home, even when the weather has other ideas. And if nothing else, it was a good reminder to pack spare socks.

Providing a Marquee at The Sun Inn, Dunsfold During 2021
In 2021, as lockdown restrictions began to lift, we were contacted by The Sun Inn in Dunsfold with a request that required both sensitivity and experience. They needed a small marquee to create additional outdoor space in their garden for a funeral gathering, allowing family and friends to come together safely during a difficult time.
